We left early with the truck this morning knowing that just making it to the main road would take at least two hours. The bumpy road was still bumpy.
Before Murun we had a short stop at the reindeer people - nomadic people who take care of their reindeer like they have done for centuries.
After a brief stop, we headed for Murun, to do shopping for the next bush camp and for some lunch. We left in the early afternoon for a short stop at the deer stones outside town. Once an important place to meet and worship for the various tribes - now just a reminder that we a not the first people to visit Mongolia :-) And our last stop with petroglyph's on this trip, having come across them more or less since Georgia.
The drive to our bush camp took us east for the rest of the afternoon and early evening until we found a very pleasant hillside - with sunshine and dry spots for putting up the tents. Now it feels right to be on the road again.
