Woke up to a grey morning. But it was a good one. We had spent a short night in a nice bed in the Ger. Waking up also meant going for the breakfast, eating at a table. All the stuff we had missed out on for the past couple of days.
After breakfast we went for showers, did all the practical things like unpacking and drying wet clothes. Malene had ordered massage at our Ger, so we lit the stove to make it nice and warm before the massage lady showed up.
The laptop didn't survive our trip with the Russian 4x4. The screen was broken - looking like it had been hit by a hammer, so no time to do writing for the blog or anything else. Anyway, we were in no-internet-land so it didn't matter. What mattered was that we now had two full days ahead of us at the most beautiful lake so far.
In the afternoon we went on a 1½ hours trip up the lake shore. We had rented some canoes - that turned out to be canoes and kayaks. Mongolians aren't really strong when it comes to logistics so it wasn't all of the canoes that could actually float.
After the canoe trip we had dinner, the truck was still not at the camp but had made it to Murun, We spent the evening relaxing at the lake shore with a few glasses of red wine enjoying the scenery and the sun set. Overlanding once again feels like being fun.
