Today was a quiet day. Did some more walking with Steen, went shopping for a bit of outdoor equipment and relaxed a bit in the afternoon at the hostel.
In the evening we managed to meet up with David and Fiona - and with Mark. Mark is one of the guys we met while travelling in Africa and by coincidence he's in Vancouver. So all of us "overlanders" met at "The Local" - a busy cafe and bar in the Kits neighbourhood.
We had food and drinks and a lot of talking about our trips around the world and back again.
Tomorrow is going to be the first day "on the road for us". Leaving to go north towards Kamloops - our first stop on the way to Jasper National park.
