Woke up early and decided to do a morning walk - on The Wall. So we headed out on our own, having the Great Wall of China more or less to ourselves. Walked for about ½ hour in one direction and then returned to our small hotel for breakfast. This morning it wasn't so hot and the sky had cleared a bit so it was easier to see how the wall was winding up and down the hills in the horizon. Amazing.
Our drive to Beijing was comfortably short. Only about 3 hours so we were at Huguosi Hotel around lunch time.
The afternoon was really relaxed. In the evening most of the group went out for Chinese acrobat show. Mikkel stayed at the hotel since he'd already seen acrobats in Dunhuang.
Later we all met for drinks at a fancy roof top bar. And then we headed out to party. Our driver Bob has a friend who's now doing events and organising parties in Beijing so we had VIP access to a night club - another roof top bar. So we stayed there for the entire night, dancing, drinking and having fun. Since the next couple of days are in Beijing we can relax and enjoy the full night of partying. Got back to the hotel at 5 in the morning and needed some junk food which our local burger joint promptly delivered. Including the option to do drunken selfies with the staff. China is in so many ways amazing.
