Today was our chill out day. Mostly because we planned for it and we wanted a day to hang out before our long journey to Asia in a few days but also partly because nothing usually happens in Central and South America on Sundays. That is unless you go to church. We didn't. Instead we went looking for a place that served breakfast and there were only one option this morning. The Luz cafe. All other places were closed, the streets were more or less empty and nothing really happened in town. It was quiet. Cafe Luz served good food, good coffee and turned out to have good wifi so we managed to Skype home and enjoy dinner with Mikkels brother and his family having a few updates on how the nephew and nieces were doing.
We just sat at the cafe for most of the day before going back to the hostel in the afternoon and later going out for local dinner and husband and wife restaurant in one of the small streets. He was serving the food, she took excellent care of the BBQ. We headed back to the hostel after dinner - tired and much needing some sleep.
