We left Tofino early in the morning. So early that we had the hostel to ourselves. Everybody still sleeping. Nice and quiet considering this is a 100+ pax hostel that is usually always busy.
Eating breakfast we could see that the weather had decided on fog this morning making everything outside looking a little spooky. And giving us very limited visibility for our drive. Not the best since we had at least 3 hours of driving ahead of us to get to the ferry. On small mountain roads.
We made it to the ferry in time, had another wonderful crossing, and then spent most of the afternoon driving east taking the southern route to Penticton. As we got closer to Penticton it started to rain - just like last time we were here. "Very unusual".
We checked in at our AirBNB stay - our very own farmhouse in the middle of the vine fields, a patio overlooking the valley and the lake. It doesn't get better than this. OK, just add home made tapas, which we did.
