Many, many years ago we went to Costa Rica. And met Keith and Sharon who travelled with us for around two weeks. During those two weeks we hiked (and survived), solved important world matters (including world peace) and basically had a wonderful time together. We left Costa Rica with a "see you soon".
Well, that "soon" is today. We left Jana's house early to pick up our rental car, and more importantly - new hiking shoes for Malene. We are pretty sure we are going to do some good hikes in the coming days.
Then we headed south towards Tacoma, crossed the
Tacoma Narrows bridge (the new one), and pulled up in the driveway of a very pretty house and wondered: "Is this really here?"
Needless to say, were happy to see Keith and Sharon. It was a nice and warm summer day so we walked the area and in the evening Mikkel had a swim at the beach. A bit on the cool side but very refreshing.
Lots of memories to share - and lots of hiking to do tomorrow.
