Nice to wake up to the sound of the ocean and waves crashing on the beach. We have to get used to it given that we'll stay here for a few days but we think that's easy. We said good morning to Berit and Frederik and headed for breakfast. Then we spent the rest of the day relaxing occasionally checking for updates on the next arrivals - Matilde and Michael. They were due to arrive in the morning - but they didn't. Matildes luggage had decided to only travel to Miami so they had to take care of formalities at the airport in Managua and the hostel had decided to not send a taxi to pick them up so we waited a bit longer.
They finally arrived in the afternoon looking just as tired as Frederik and Berit did last night. There is a lot of flying involved in getting from Denmark to Nicaragua it seems. But we were finally here, all of us. Ready to enjoy Nicaragua, Popoyo, our beach, a cold beer, more cold beers and - well, chill. Which we did.
A swim in the ocean, the magnificent sunset and good dinner all added to keeping the mood very high. We all made it. How fabulous!
