We left Nanaimo and our temporary home this morning. Early because we needed to do a long drive and early because we wanted to find a beach on the way and hang out a bit. The weather still excellent so off we went.
We tried to find a beach close to the road but since the tide was out in the morning the water was very far from shore. No luck. Until we tried heading towards Miracle Beach - which turned out to be just the place we wanted to find. It even came with a wedding on the beach right next to where we were. And of course a chance to have a swim in the ocean once the married couple was gone.
Then a lot more driving north until we arrived at the B&B. A nice house where we got our own bedroom with a patio overlooking the ocean - and our own hot tub outside. Nice
Went down town to get some sushi and headed home to enjoy it on the patio. With the sunset. Perfect
