Ho Chi Mihn city and visiting the War Remnant Museum

We weren't in a hurry this morning. Instead we had great breakfast, hung out a bit in the room before finally walking 30 minutes to the War Remnants Museum which turned out to be good timing since we made it there just when the opened up after lunch.

At first the museum wasn't that crowded but more and more groups arrived and it got pretty crowded towards the end of our visit. We managed to see most of the museum and even though the exhibition is very one sided - they don't like the Americans - it is still giving a good impression of just how horrible this war was. Like all other wars. We spent almost 1½ hours in there before we needed some fresh air and late lunch. The recommendation from the Danish girl at the airport yesterday was to go for fresh spring rolls at Propaganda so we went there and had some good rolls. It is so nice to be in a country with a different kitchen than Myanmar. More fresh herbs and spices and less rice it seems.

We took a taxi back to the hotel and basically stayed in for the rest of the afternoon and evening, just making it to the lounge at 30th floor for drinks. Malene was very occupied with the scooter traffic down on the street. It is a total mess and they are criss-crossing between each other, going against the flow of traffic, doing short cuts in the middle of intersections and - well, it works that way.

A quit evening for us but sometimes it is just right to enjoy the room when it is this nice.

We have to come back here tomorrow
