After having kick started Jes' arrival in Santiago it was time for a quiet morning and a lazy day. Malene wanted to check out a few of the neighbourhoods so we walked - the city returning to normal after two days of partying. Shops being open and people in the streets.
We had an early afternoon beer in the neighbourhood of Barrio Brasil - there is a lot of catching up when you haven't met for six months and half the company has travelled the world during that period.
In the afternoon we headed for Cerro San Christobal and got a look at the city - not from the top but high enough to get a sense of the size of it.
We realised we were just around the corner from the bar street - Pio Nono, so for late lunch we made sure Jes got his first introduction to Chilean food - Chorrillana
