We had a quiet morning. Sitting on the front porch at Bubba's getting a bit of breakfast and looking at the water taxi boats on the water going back and forth. It was busy at our place, most of the surfers staying in because the rain was pouring down. Some pretty crazy showers in the morning.
Mikkel had to Skype home in the afternoon and knowing that the Internet worked here we stayed until he was done. Then we headed for Bambuda lodge. Only 10 minutes by boat and we checked in at a very nice place. And then we took it east the rest of the afternoon before catching another boat for a 5 minute ride to Blue Coconut Bar. One of those bounty places - a building on stilts in the water overlooking the bay and the sunset. We met Jen and her friend had a few drinks and some very late lunch, watched the sun set and headed home to our hostel and signed up for dinner.
We had really nice food and stayed at the lounge area after dinner. Being Tuesday evening the place was busy since this is the "big day out" evening where the hostel organises a trip to Bocas Town for clubbing. We didn't feel like going out for drinks - just hanging out was good enough for us. It seems like we have found a wonderful place for Christmas thanks to Malene. Looking forward to a few days of chilling at Bambuda lodge.
