We woke up and decided to stay an extra day in Cuenca. It's a nice town, the weather looked like sunshine so perfect for walking some more.
We headed for the park in the other end of town and just hung out a bit before going to the bus station to get tickets for the next destination - Baños. There is not supposed to be a direct day bus but we'll try our luck anyway. The first ticket office told us about a connection but we walked around the bus station some more and found another company who did a direct bus service in the morning. Mission complete.
We walked a bit more around town who seemed to be much more alive today than yesterday including the local market. And the not so lively but still nice cemetery.
The only disappointment - the museum was closed on Monday's but we had a nice walk anyway. Kind of an ordinary day just hanging out a bit. Also nice and necessary once in a while.
