Sucre city sightseeing - La Recoleta

This morning we relaxed, took care of some laundry before Malene went to her Spanish class. We agreed to meet in town later in the afternoon and head up to one of Sucre's main attractions - La Recoleta. It's a pretty square, church, viewpoint and school located on the hillside. It's a short uphill walk from the centre of town and very good for sunset.

We got there just before the sun set over the mountains and had time to stand there and admire the busy square. Then we had a drink at the cafe right next to the square overlooking the town. Then we headed down towards the main square looking for something to have for dinner.

We ended up right on the main square on Metro Cafe. It was busy so we had the last free table - the one in the corner of the cafe, facing the square. We sat there and enjoyed the people and traffic on the square when we suddenly noticed somebody behind us - the four guys from Switzerland we hung out with in Rurrenabaque. We were a bit baffled not really expecting to meet them or anybody else this evening. They joined us for dinner, we updated each other on the last few days of travel experiences and then we said "safe travel" since they were heading to Santa Cruz. Funny small world sometimes.

Yet another wonderful morning
