Heading for San Pedro de Atacama

We set our alarms for "early" since we had an early morning flight from Santiago. Turned out nature also set the alarm a few minutes earlier than us so we woke up due to a rather big aftershock.

Back packs ready, we left the apartment just after 5 in the morning. The town was dead but we managed to get a taxi to the airport and arrived way too early. Which wasn't bad given how busy it turned out to be. Then we left on time on our two hour flight to Calama. From there we got a taxi to the bus station, caught the 1½ hour bus ride to San Pedro de Atacama - and walked to our hostel. No delays or missing connections. How easy :-)

Spent the afternoon relaxing and walking around town - bumping in to a Dragoman truck. Small world it seems
