Relaxing morning, horseback riding - Tsenher hot springs – how more days are supposed to be

No driving today. Instead we had the opportunity to visit a family ger just next to the camp where we stayed. Mikkel walked with some of the others from the group and had around an hour with explanations on how traditional Mongolian life is including the opportunity to taste yak yoghurt and home made vodka. We have another chance to say hi to a Mongolian family later on on the trip so Malene and some of the others just enjoyed the beautiful ger camp area.

The rest of the morning Malene was hiking with three of the other girls. The hike was a lot up hill on no real path so it involved some climbing over fallen threes and through knee high plants. But also great views - and lots of annoying flies.

Mikkel took a mid-morning nap. Getting ready for the horseback riding before dinner.

It was a really nice trip with 6 of us on horses and a couple of guides to take us a bit up the valley in the afternoon – and the back again. Except for around a million flies joining us this was so nice just enjoying the animals and the nature in general.

Finished off with drinks in the fantastic hot springs at the camp and looking at the absolutely amazing star covered sky. What's not to like about Mongolia.
